Paper-phenolic canvas

Bakelised paper continues to be used in specific sectors such as high-power electrical transformers, where, immersed in oil, it becomes an excellent insulator. Using phenolic sheets and tubes as raw material, a variety of items can be produced by numerically controlled (CNC) machines, even to CAD design, in both small-scale and industrial series production.

Bakelised canvas is used to produce items that achieve high mechanical performance. This is possible thanks to one of its main characteristics: being a self-lubricating material.

Excellent compromise between quality and price, suitable for medium-low tensions and high mechanical properties, not suitable for humid environments.

Possibility of making spools, insulating boxes glued with two-component glue.

Operating temperature 120° class B.
Simple tooling or CAD-CAM machining, blanking.
